The Las Candalistas Elves were at it again! Thank you to our Adopt-A-Family chairs Kathy and Cathy who organized and delivered holiday gifts for 15 children and 5 moms. The 5 families we supported this year were from our charity partner Community’s Child. The children’s ages ranged from 2 months to 17 years. In addition to all the gifts, clothes, gift cards, bikes, and highchairs, we were able to provide each mother a $250 gift card from Target, as well as gifts from our Holiday Boutique. We also stuffed their stockings with fun toys, a bell necklace, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and yes… a candy cane. In addition to providing our 5 families with their holiday wishes, we were also able to provide Toberman Neighborhood Center with pullovers and our South Bay Children’s Health Center with some replenishment toys for their treasure chest.
