ICYMI: Our Holiday Adopt A Family program was a huge success due to the generosity and commitment of our Las Candalistas members. We raised enough money to fulfill the need and wish lists of all the family members from both Family Promise of South Bay as well as Community’s Child. In addition, we were able to provide both families with grocery store and Visa gift cards. We would like to thank each and every member who so generously made donations. When the gifts were dropped off at Family Promise of South Bay, Andrew Nishimoto, Executive Director, sent us an email simply stating…” WOW!” Community’s Child, as well, was very grateful and surprised at the number of gifts we were able to provide the family. One little girl even got a bike. We wish these families and all who Family Promise of South Bay and Community’s Child service a very Happy New Year!
