June 28th, 2023 was an incredibly sad day for Las Candalistas. We lost our founding member, Jane McNeil. She was still involved in the group up to the end. In fact, she had just attended our annual June Luncheon, which marks the close of our season, and was excited for what was planned for the upcoming season. She was our biggest supporter and cheerleader, even though the group she founded over 55 years ago had changed. However, her vision, and the current vision of Las Candalistas has not changed. We honor Jane, and all our founding members, by continuing to dedicate our efforts to the benefit of South Bay Children and the Environment. Thank you, Jane, not just for what you have done for the community, but for what you have done for all of us. You created a strong sisterhood of unbreakable bonds. We love you and miss you.
