Peninsula People Write-up of our May 10th Spring Fundraiser

Thank you, Peninsula People, (Easy Reader News) for your wonderful write-up of our spring fundraising event, Cruising Together for the Better, in your June issue. We can’t believe that this successful event was already almost a month ago! In case you missed the boat, check out the article below or go to https://easyreadernews.com/spotlight-on-charity-cruising-together-for-the-better-las-candalistas-spring-event/ to read the article on-line.

Thank you to all who attended, donated, participated in our auctions, and had a good time! Thanks to all of you, we beat our fundraising goals for the season! Net proceeds of all our fundraising events this season benefited Cancer Support Community South Bay; Manes For Movement; Providence Trinity Kids Care Hospice Foundation; + 9 other South Bay Philanthropies.

If you think the hard-working members of Las Candalistas are going to take a break this summer before we dive into our 2025-26 season, think again! We’re already planning our next fundraiser, A Journey Through the Pages. It will be another author luncheon and we’re so excited. Stay tuned, details coming soon!

Many, many thanks to our generous Sponsors and Community Partners: Supervisor Janice Hahn; Kelly & Laura Real Estate “Sisters SOLD on the South Bay”; Zulu Nyala; Fotomirrorus; Water Replenishment District of Southern California; Diane Stone, Real Estate Agent at Compass; Wander Africa, The Safari Co.; Chef Dora Presents; Castle Rock Wines; Palos Verdes Magazine; Our Southbay; Palos Verdes Pulse; Modern Jewelers; Bombas; Wyland Foundation; Brizzo; Tuscan Hills Table
