I feel as if I was blessed the day I was approached to join the incredibly selfless women of Las Candalistas. Although I work full time as an educator, they embraced me with open arms and assured me, everyone has something to offer in one way or another. How could I refuse? The members have such a wide diversity of talent and an unparalleled conviction to improving the lives of the children and the environment of the South Bay. Although I have had the immense pleasure to assist in a variety of different capacities, my ultimate enjoyment was co-chairing the Adopt A Family program. Bringing happiness and supporting families in need, is what Las Candalistas is all about. I look forward to assisting this incredible nonprofit organization for years to come.
