Attention Past, Present, and Future Las Candalistas Philanthropies
We’re excited to announce a new, more inclusive approach to our funding process.
Starting this year, you no longer need to be nominated by a member directly to apply for funding.
Eligible South Bay philanthropies can now apply directly online!
To qualify, your organization must:
Serve one or more cities in the South Bay of Los Angeles County.
Support children and/or the environment.
Application window: May 1 – June 30
Each year our Philanthropy Committee, comprised of our Officers and Board of Directors, will carefully review all applications and select 10 organizations to receive funding.
Why the change?
Thanks to strong community support over the past five years, we’ve expanded our capacity to give. In the past, we focused on a top three and extended additional gifts when possible. Now, we’re committed to funding 10 philanthropies annually. While selection doesn’t guarantee full funding, this approach helps us create a greater collective impact across our community.
We look forward to reconnecting with familiar partners and welcoming new ones into our Las Candalistas family.
Thank you for all you do!
We are in the process of selecting our Philanthropies for our 2025-26 season.
We should have our final decisions by late Summer 2025
Las Candalistas is pleased to announce our Top 3 philanthropies for 2024-25
